Nice to meet you!

My name is Kira Williams

(Pisces Sun, Sagittarius Moon, and Leo Rising)

I am a Brooklyn based actor with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College. 

 

Picture this. Dance camp. Summer 2006. A VHS of Cats 1998. Face paint. And my life was never the same...

I’ve come a long way from questionable reenactments of “Mr. Mistoffelees,” in my living room (pictured), but the spark born that day in dance camp is burning JUST as bright. 

 

Originally from Long Island, New York (currently based in Brooklyn), my passion for theatre blossomed at the John W. Engeman Theater in Northport through various productions, where I additionally began a journey with theatre education with children ranging from 3-12. I am currently on the faculty of Four Corners Creative where I teach musical theatre, dance, and sewing. I've also been working for Broadway Workshop for eight years in arts administration and facilitating traveling theatre groups.

I am a skilled improvisor, professional mermaid, puppeteer, and theatre arts educator!​

Outside of the Arts, I am a practicing witch, stationary enthusiast, stuffed animal hoarder, and lover of horror / true crime.
